Fremont Lofts - Worcester, MA

The Freemont Lofts is an adaptive-reuse project consisting of 97 new loft condominiums. The one-and two-bedroom units feature hardwood floors, 18-foot ceilings, original wood and steel beams and 5-foot-by-10-foot windows. The complex also includes a fitness center, a media center, a courtyard, and storage areas.

Formerly home of the L. Farber Company, a manufacturer of leather shoe components, the building had been vacant for several years. Development required extensive demolition, abatement, exterior masonry repairs and the opening of the center section of the former factory to provide for the courtyard.
